At our Book and Movie Club Discussion, we join in fun and interactive conversations and hands-on activities that bring our book club stories to life!   Check our calendar for events and read along with us, if you like.  We would love to have you join the adventure! 

This is our Dinner with Friends at Main Street, where volunteers assist program facilitator Susan Silverberg in Poppy Boy's Kitchen with hands-on cooking activities with members and facilitate conversation in small groups. 

Join Susan, friend of Main Street, for Dinner with Friends! This time, we'll be at Main Street for a hands-on activity that Susan brings for the group!

This is our Dinner with Friends outing, where we will be visiting a local restaurant. Volunteers engage in conversation and assist the program facilitator, Susan Silverberg, as needed. Volunteers are are responsible for purchasing their own meal.

It's grilling and patio season at Main Street! We need volunteers to help grill and prepare our cook-out dinner for our Free Concert in the Town Square night!

Join us for a fun, hands-on celebration of nature as we honor Earth Day and Arbor Day!  Get your hands dirty planting mini trees, create your own shimmering stained‑glass Earth, create your own magnets, and enjoy a lively round of bingo - all inspired by the beauty of our planet.

Volunteers will help set up, serve food, foster connection and conversation, assist with crafts and activities and clean up.

Unwind and connect at this week’s Friday Vibes, where kinship and community take center stage. Join us for a feel‑good evening of creativity, laughter, and meaningful connection as we celebrate the bonds that bring us together.

Create friendship bracelets, write heartfelt cards for loved ones, and enjoy fun, easygoing games that bring people together. Whether you come with friends or solo, you’ll leave feeling connected and uplifted.

Each month, you can join the Book and Movie Club by reading along, watching the film, or both—however you choose to participate, we’re excited to journey with you through worlds full of adventure, insight, and enchantment.

Tonight, we enter into a world of whimsy, fantasy and adventure with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe! Come join us as we journey to Narnia and connect with friends and the classic cast of characters from the well-loved story by C.S. Lewis.

5:00-6:00: Cookout and Connection: Conversation and Dinner Service

 6:00 pm:  Friday Vibes programming will end and members are encouraged to head over to Rockville Town Square to check out the first free concert of the summer series! 

* Please note: Staff will not be facilitating travel between Main Street and the Town Square (about 4 blocks walking) or facilitating any program at the concert.

Join Mama Peace for a local outing to Giuseppi’s Pizza in Rockville Town Center! Plan to meet Mama Peace and other members at the restaurant (199 E Montgomery Ave, Rockville, MD 20850) to enjoy food and conversation.  

Participants will receive free pizza, salad, and soda, but are responsible for purchasing any additional food.

Main Street and the Rockville City Police are partnering to host a Neighborhood Safety Day on Saturday, June 6 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm! Monroe Place will be closed and filled with fun and educational opportunities. Come to engage in interactive activities with first responders, watch safety demonstrations, learn about safety resources, connect with friends and make some new ones! We’ll have music and delicious food available for purchase.

Volunteers will be welcoming and guiding attendees and invite participation in the activities and safety demonstrations. We hope you can join us and would be grateful for your help!

If you're looking for a fun and lowkey way to spend your Sunday evening, Sunday Social is for you! With a variety of project stations, you'll have the chance to hang out with members in small groups while participating in hands-on activities.
